LIM KHENG CHYE founded ARCHITECTS STUDIO in 1971, and is a senior member of the architectural profession.

He is a Fellow (Life) member of the Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) since 2010, a past Council Member of SIA, a Corporate Member of the Malaysian Institute of Architects (Ahli Pertubohan Akitek Malaysia), a Founding Member of the World Association of Chinese Architects (PRC), and is also a registered ASEAN Architect.
Mr Lim currently serves as an Arbitrator for disputes in building contracts and is a Panel Arbitrator in various professional bodies - Singapore Institute of Architects, Singapore Institute of Arbitrators, Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers, Singapore Contractors Association Ltd.

He is also a Panel Expert Determinator of the Singapore Institute of Architects, an Accredited Adjudicator of the Singapore Mediation Centre, and a Panel Member of the REDAS Conciliation Panel. He did his post-graduate study in International Arbitration at the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore.

He was a former Senior Advisor to the Panel of Examiners for Professional Practice Examinations for the Board of Architects (Singapore), and was an Adjunct Tutor in Architectural Practice for the Master of Architecture programme at the Department of Architecture, National University of Singapore.
Mr Lim is currently a Board Member of the Street and Building Names Board, Ministry of National Development. Mr Lim was a former Board Member of the National Archives of Singapore Board and was later appointed as its Board Advisor. He was one of the Domain Experts for the collaboration in the development of the National Productivity and Quality Specifications (NPQS) for the Singapore Construction Industry in 2004.
Mr Lim was conferred Silver Award for Service to Education by the Ministry of Education in 2001 and 2006, and was awarded the ‘Friend of Heritage’ Award by the National Heritage Board) for his contribution to education and the arts in Singapore.

ROY is a Registered Architect with the Board of Architects (Singapore) and is a Partner at Architects Studio LLP.

Roy is a Member of the Singapore Institute of Architects, has completed BCA's Green Mark Manager certification examinations, is a BCA-certified Universal Design Assessor, and is a Design for Safety Professional.

Roy graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture (with First Class Honours) from RMIT University, and read under Professor Peter Corrigan (RAIA Gold Medallist), Professor Leon van Schaik, Adjunct Professor Tom Kovac and Adjunct Professor Lindsay Holland.

With Architects Studio, Roy has been responsible for numerous institutional, residential, and civic projects, and specializes in sustainable design.

Roy was previously an Associate with StudioMilou Architecture, and was involved in the National Gallery of Singapore project (which won the President’s Design Award in 2015).

Roy also worked in architectural firms in Australia and while at Hassell (Melbourne), was a key member in the collaboration between Hassell and Nicholas Grimshaw & Partners (UK) for the design of a mixed-use urban redevelopment project in Melbourne, Australia.

Roy was invited as a visiting design critic at the Schools of Architecture at RMIT University, and at the National University of Singapore.

Roy has also been an Teaching Adjunct at the Department of Architecture, the National University of Singapore since 2016, as well as at the Architecture & Sustainable Design Pillar, Singapore University of Technology and Design since 2018.
